                     Bussiness Analysis

In many cases before Client decides to use outsourcing company for solution development they need to formalize vision & requirements for the future system. However the process of requirements definition and arrangement is quite complex and requires specific expertise in IT as well as huge amount of time.

The ideal solution for this is to provide only very draft vision (Business Needs) on what is required, define business goals, and assign other work to offshore partner. The obstacle here is that offshore vendor should be very experienced in business domain to understand business requirements, propose improvements and so on.

In Qulix Systems we understand that maintenance of business knowledge is a crucial point in our success. In contrast to many other software development companies Qulix Systems has dedicated role of Business Analyst which is responsible for deep business analysis of Client's needs and transformation of them into Software Requirements. This team (BA) consists of Subject Matter Experts who deeply understand particular areas of business and can speak with "end-users" using common language.

In some cases business analysis goes as a separate service, sometimes it is included as an internal part of business automation, but independently on the model we should provide the following artifacts as a result of this activity:
• Project Vision - describes business goals, project purpose, main requirements and so on
• Software Requirements Specification (includes a set of use cases) Business Requirements Document (BRD)
• GUI markup or GUI prototype

In fact, the result of requirements definition phase should be a set of documents, which is enough for RFP compilation and for accurate workload and cost estimation.
